Remove ads from your TV with Claude Code.
Claude CodeADBAndroid TV[From an @levizdev reel]
A developer gave Claude Code his TV model — the agent found it on the network, disabled 25 ad and tracking apps and wrote a new launcher. The project, cleanyourtv, is on GitHub. Links and how to repeat it are below. Android TV and Google TV only.

03/ How to run
- 01Check the OS: Settings → About. You need Android TV or Google TV. On Fire TV only the debloat part works, no new launcher. Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) are not supported.
- 02Enable developer mode: tap Build 7 times in About.
- 03In Developer options, turn on USB debugging, and network debugging if that option exists. Your computer and TV must be on the same Wi-Fi. Accept the "Allow USB debugging?" prompt on the TV.
- 04Open Claude Code (or Codex / Gemini CLI) in the repo folder and give it PROMPT.md. The agent connects to the TV over ADB and asks before making changes.
- 05No root needed: apps are disabled, not deleted. Roll back with tools/restore.sh. A firmware update can bring the ads back — the repo has check.py to detect that.
- 06⚠️ There is risk: at least one person bricked their TV. Do it at your own risk and don't touch system packages you don't understand.

The prompt is a good start. If it has to live inside a real site, connect to sign-up and be production-ready, I'll build it end-to-end.
